How to use Slimmy :: The Slim Front Pocket Wallet Alternative.

The Koyono Slimmy® is a slim wallet you can comfortably carry in your front pocket. It is specifically designed for the person “on-the-go” who prefers to carry a wallet in their front pocket for security, comfort and fast access to things. Here are the 1-2-3’s on how to use your Slimmy:

Step 1

Use this fold for receipts, business cards, or other important items.

Step 2

Select credit cards and forms of identification (i.e. driver’s license) you use regularly. Place them in the middle fold. This is normally a tight fit.

Step 3

Put your cash here. Fold your currency and insert it deeply in the fold.

NOTE: Please be sure to use your Slimmy in your front pocket. Wallets carried in the back pocket are easier to steal and can damage your spine (seriously, ask your chiropractor). Please review our STYLE WARNING in the Specs section for more information.

Slimmy ID Wallett October 2, 2008

My wallett arrived a few days ago.  Upon opening the package I noticed that a hole and a large wrinkle were present in the clear ID part of the wallett.  I was abit discouraged with the issue and contacted Kyono to inform them of the condition of the wallett when it arrived.  I recevied a letter from customer service today and they are sending me a new wallett free of charge.  I think that was a nice gesture on thier part and much appreciated.  As far as the slimmy goes it appears to be very functional wallett and very useful if one travels alot or is in a high security job where you needc to flip your ID out alot in  a day, like me.  Iam sure the next wallett will be free of flaws.  Aces to Kyono for standing behind a great concept and for superior customer service. Keep up the good work.

I never thought this would work for me. I had a nice, leather bifold that was pretty full with cards, cash, receipts, etc. and I kept it in my back pocket. Then 1 day, I said enuff. I searched and searched and found Slimmy. I got my viewslimmy and a slimmy pen back in July and haven't looked back since. Now I'm thinking about trying either the Slimmy or SlimSlimmy next for an even smaller fit.
Great porduct. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to simplify their life anyway they can.

I love this wallet, but there's one very small flaw, it's designed precisely around the dimensions of US currency. This is problematic, as currency around the world is almost always wider in the common denominations, which make this an unfavourable travel wallet.

If there was a Slimmy International, I would surely be a customer.

I purchased the Bold Slimmy with Red lining.  It is exactly what I am looking for in term of function and quality of a slim front pocket wallet.  It discreetly fits in the chest pocket of my Patagonia fleece jacket.

The wallet contains:
5 bills
Driver's lic
Amex
MC
Bank Card
2 lotto tickets (current 279Mil Jackpot :))

The best thing is the service.  Tried to confirm my order by phone several times after I placed the order but was not able to get through.  Two days later I was able to get a live person on the phone.  They indicated that they had problems with their phone system.  To make up for their delay, they said they would upgrade my shipping to Priority for free.  I came home yesterday and was pleasantly surprised that they actually upgraded the shipping to FedEx second day so that I would receive by the time I leave for my business trip this weekend.  A1 service!!

What I've been looking for September 12, 2007

I have been looking to reduce the bulk of things that I carry and the Slimmy has been a good solution.

You have to commit to a small lifestyle change for this to work. For instance I now use my debit card for most purchases, which reduces the need to keep receipts and cash. I've also cut down the number of credit card  I have down to one.

Contents (usual)
3 bills (various denominations)
Debit card
Drivers license
Credit card
Key card (Roughly the size of a credit card @ 1.5x the thickness)

I'd say that the Slimmy with the contents above is about 75% to 80% of its max functional capacity.

One minor issue is that after about a year of use a corner of my Slimmy has worn through to expose the inner lining. Its about 2mm X 4mm so its not huge but its a bit noticeable since I have the red lining. It doesn't affect usage at all but It makes me wonder how long it will last. Otherwise I'd say it has held up pretty well under daily usage.
